From my own personal experience, there are occassions when softening right up a photograph might provide the wedding photographer with a bit of an inspired flare. Sometimes however, the soft clouds isn't just what exactly you had at heart and can sometimes spoil a normally good image, especially if you anticipate enlarging that.
